Overview

Fisherman in Authentic Bajau cultural village in Togean Islands

Not all island journeys are created equal. Some simply take you from one beach to another. This expedition takes you through three completely different worlds of the Togean Islands.

Begin your journey with an authentic Bajau cultural experience in Kabalutan village, visiting traditional stilt houses over the water where life moves with the rhythm of the sea and sunsets belong only to a handful of visitors. Continue into the heart of Bajau culture with an overnight stay in the legendary stilt village of Papan Island, walking its iconic 500-meter wooden bridge and experiencing one of Southeast Asia’s oldest maritime communities. Finally, reward yourself with two nights of tropical comfort at a beachfront island resort, where turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and powder-soft beaches become your private sanctuary.

Along the way you’ll navigate winding mangrove channels, snorkel untouched barrier reefs, swim with thousands of harmless jellyfish inside a hidden marine lake, and meet the remarkable people who have called these islands home for generations.

This is not simply an island-hopping holiday—it is the complete Togean experience, combining authentic culture, remote exploration, extraordinary marine life, and barefoot island luxury into one unforgettable five-day expedition.

Highlights

  • Togean’s Underwater Wonders — Snorkel colourful coral gardens, admire giant sea fans, and discover the rich marine life of the surrounding reefs.
